When you use SLOOPZONE, we may collect the following information:
Contact details — email address, company name, and country, provided when you request a quote or create an account.
Uploaded files — parts lists (Excel, Word, PDF, or images) you upload via the quote tool. Files are stored in Cloudflare R2 and used only to generate your quote.
OE codes searched — the OE numbers you enter in the search bar. We aggregate these to understand catalog demand.
Technical data — IP address (hashed, not stored in raw form), browser/device type (user-agent), referring URL, and country (from Cloudflare headers).
Cookies — a lang preference cookie (no personal data) and an optional session cookie if you log in.
How we use it
We use your information to:
Generate and deliver parts quotes (the core service).
Send you the quote by email when you provide an address.
Follow up on open quotes and orders via email. Every EDM email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
Improve our catalog by tracking which OE codes are searched but not found.
Detect and prevent abuse (rate limiting, fraud detection).
We do not use your data for advertising profiling or sell it to data brokers.
Storage & security
All data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (D1 database, R2 object storage, KV cache). Cloudflare provides encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.3). Uploaded files are retained for 90 days after quote generation, then automatically deleted. Customer contact records are retained for the duration of the business relationship plus 3 years for accounting purposes.
Sharing with third parties
We share data only as necessary to fulfill your order:
Manufacturers — when you accept a quote, the relevant manufacturer receives your company name and country for production and shipping coordination. They do not receive your raw email address.
Shipping carriers — DHL or FedEx receive your delivery address for door-to-door shipment tracking.
Cloudflare — infrastructure provider; your data passes through Cloudflare's network per their Privacy Policy.
Resend — transactional email provider; your email address is transmitted to send quote and order emails.
We never sell personal data to third parties.
Your rights
You may request at any time:
Data export — a copy of all data we hold about you.
Deletion — removal of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements for completed orders).
